上海燎原双语学校国际课程班近期组织了新一届学生会公开竞选。同学们踊跃报名，积极参与，充分展示了自己在学习成绩、文体才艺、以及组织管理各方面的优势与能力。通过老师严格打分，同学认真投票等程序，新的一届学生会产生。

The English Divisionof Shanghai Liaoyuan Private Bilingual High School has organized the studentunion election recently. The students participated actively in the election. Theydemonstrated excellence in academic performance,sports,arts,organization andmanagement. A new student union has been born after their teachers’ strict evaluationand the students’ voting procedure.

I am Mario from G9-1. It is not only an honor but also a responsibility for me to join the student Union. I will study hard and learn from senior students in all aspects. In the meantime, I will strive to improve myself, setting an example for other students and make progress with them.

I am Evelyn from G10-4. I am honored to be a member of the student union. I hope to make more friends, get organized and work well with the student union. I will complete all tasks regarding the school leaders and teachers. I also hope that I can improve my ability to get things accomplished through my work in the student union.

I am Kevin from G10-4. The student union is a platform for self-expression and honing my abilities. At the same time, it is also a channel to get to know my classmates better and make more friends. In addition, it is also the best way to understand school management and culture. I hope that the experience of working within the student union will help me accumulate more experience and improve my abilities to work towards a better society.

I am Lucy from G11-3. I am really honored to have the support of my teachers and classmates. I hope I can be active in assisting both school leaders and teachers organize and help students carry out various activities, as well as improve my ability this year to work with the student union.

I am Emily from G11-3. I am taking part in the student union election which means showing great courage as far as I am concerned. I will try my best to complete every task with the student union. I hope to make a small contribution to our school. I will work hard to improve myself.

I am Harelda from IEP. I will be tough on myself, no matter how much I need to study, work and live life. I will try to become a role model. I will be a good communicator between teachers and students. I will try to finish all kinds of tasks allocated by our school. I will try to create more opportunities for student exposure and participation.

希望新一届学生会以自我管理、自我服务为宗旨，学生会成员积极主动参与学校与学生的各项管理**，做好学校与学生的桥梁和纽带。同时，作为学生会一员，严格要求自己，在学习、纪律、生活各方面为同学们做出表率。

I hope that the new student union will embrace a policy of self-management and selfless service. All members can actively participate in the management system of the school and its students. I look forward to being a bridge between the school and the students. At the same time, as a member of the student union, we should be strict with ourselves and act as role model students for our classmates in learning, discipline and school life.
