近日，上海燎原双语学校首届电影节活动如期展开，上海燎原国际高中英文部学生以其非凡的创造力为全校师生带来了一场别开生面的视听盛宴。

Lately, the first Film Festival took place. Students bring us an entirely new audio-visual feast with their outstanding talents.

1、采访Ruby老师

Q：Ruby老师您好，可否给我们介绍下本次电影节?

Hi Ruby. Can you tell us about what the Film Festival is?

Ruby：这次的电影节活动主要由11年级学生承办。他们在文学课上学习如何制作电影，并将借此契机展示自己制作的各种趣味短片。

The Film Festival is for G11 who are learning film-making in U3 of literature to show their most entertaining films.

Q：举办电影节的初衷是什么?

So what’s the purpose of this film festival?

Ruby：目的就是为这些努力而有创意的学生提供一个向全校师生展示他们才华的机会，就像在真实的电影行业里一样。

The purpose is to give an opportunity for our students who work really hard and came up with really creative ideas to show their talents to the whole school, just like in a real film industry.

Q：真棒!那这次的活动又是怎么组织起来的呢?

That's really cool ! But how is it organized?

Ruby：同学们把电影作品交上来，由我、Kyle和Annie进行筛选并按题材分类展示。

The students handed in their work and then myself, Kyle and Annie chose the films that have the most entertaining value, as well as arrange of genres.

Q：你好，Jerry。你觉得昨晚的电影节怎么样?我看你一直在笑呢!

Hey Jerry, how do you like yesterday’s Film Festival? I saw you laugh all the time.

Jerry：我认为电影节很成功，很有趣，让人印象深刻。他们很好地表达了一些想法。

I think the Film Festival was really successful. The content was really funny and impressive. They have shown these ideas clearly.

Q：你好，Zhen。你在片中扮演了一个角色。觉得你们拍的怎么样?你们的电影很受同学们的欢迎呢!

Hello, Zhen. You are one actor in the film, what’s your opinion about the film? Actually, your film is very popular among the students.

Zhen：说起来有些尴尬，我原本以为它只是一份作业，不会让全校师生看到，这中间我们也就是觉得拍片子很好玩。最终我感觉自己像真正的明星一样!

Well, it was embarrassing because I think it’s just a homework and won’t publish on campus. When we make this short film, it’s just for fun. Eventually I feel like a star. I really enjoyed it!

Q：**，你好。电影节给你留下的印象深吗?

Hello our school captain. Did the Film festival give you a deep impression?

R：哦，是的。昨晚的电影节的确激动人心。我们提前做了宣传，很多家长也知道这个电影节，他们非常支持我们。大家都知道，Zhen的影片反响热烈，这也有利于个人宣传。电影节办得很成功，以后我们可以多开展一些类似的活动。

Oh yes. The Film Festival which was held yesterday was really exciting and surprised me. We did many advertisements. Many parents know it and they support us very well. As we all know, Zhen’s film is a big success and it’s also a good way for a personal advertising. This is a very successful event and we can have more events like this in the future.
