上海燎原双语学校国际部的冬日，备受校内外家长期待的冬日节正一天天向我们靠近了。冬日节在世界各地都很常见，最初起源于德国。如今，冬日节中的公益集市已经衍生为贩售各种物件的公益市场，玲琅满目的商品都来自于人们的捐赠，筹集的善款也将用于慈善及非盈利性组织。现行很多学校都会举办冬日狂欢。

Our first Winter Festival is nearly here!Winter Festivals are common place around the world and originally started in Germany. It brings together different activities including food, shops and games. Many schools around the world also hold Winter Festivals.

如今燎原的冬日狂欢节，学校联合赞助商们携手打造了一个活泼、吸引人的冬季公益集市。

Our aim at Liaoyuan is to support our local community and also childrens' charities. It with this in mind that our first Winter Festival will focus on a number of charities. Many of the donations have been given by our vendors.

表演、食物、游戏、冒险的奇妙组合，营造出浓浓的幸福氛围，令人目不暇接。此次冬日狂欢节所得的商家捐助资金全部将捐赠给燎原的慈善项目，分别是：上海市**社会福利院“孝亲文化”志愿者活动、复旦大学儿科医院“宝贝伴读”计划、Stepping Stone项目和Roots and Shoots项目。

The charities for the Primary School include Fudan Pediatrics Hospital for Children and Lotus Old Peoples Home in our community. High School includes Shanghai First Social Welfare Hospital, Stepping Stones Project and Roots and Shoots.

据目前的报名数据统计，届时预计将会有1000人次参与本次冬日狂欢节活动。

We are predicting more than 1000 will participate on this day.
