As a registered nurse, you will work in a diverse and fast-paced medical environment to provide quality health care and support to individuals, families and communities. If you have a passion for caring for people and are interested in fulfilling a diverse range of roles in a health environment, then a Bachelor of Nursing at one of three UON locations is for you.

As one of Australia's most trusted professions, nurses make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of the community and are essential within any health care system or facility. This also means nurses are highly employable; your nursing career could take you across Australia and the globe, working in public and private healthcare facilities in areas across a range of disciplines in the health sector. What you will study

A Bachelor of Nursing at UON will give you the opportunity to study a wide range of courses. You will have the opportunity to study your courses in face-to face learning and online. Our nursing degree offers plenty of hands-on experience in clinical laboratories and placements.

为来自中国的学生设计 There are a number of ways to gain entry to undergraduate programs at the University of Newcastle. You may be considered for admission on the basis of: a completed NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent – irrespective of age of qualification; completed or partly completed higher education studies; TAFE/VET qualifications, with a minimum of a completed Certificate III (AQF level 3), excluding the Bachelor of Nursing; TAFE/VET qualifications, with a minimum of a completed Certificate II (AQF level 2) in conjunction with meeting additional performance based selection criteria for the Bachelor of Music and associated combined degrees; completion of a recognised enabling program within a 10 year period preceding admission to the University; overseas qualifications equivalent to Australian studies. English language requirement: TOEFL paper-based test score of 500; TOEFL internet based score of 60; IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0; PTE GSE score of 50; Cambridge English: Advanced score of 52.
