上海燎原双语学校国际部高中班学员迎来了别开生面的服装设计选修课，两位老师带来了小型织布机，让学生们亲手体验织布。课堂上，在老师的指导下，学生们了解了如何和面料打交道，如何通过织布做出手袋，围巾和其他织品。在英文部高中，我们开设了诸多将理论知识和动手能力结合在一起的设计课程，今天的服装设计课也秉承一样的理念。

从照片里可以看出，学生们非常踊跃，精力充沛，被这个新体验所折服，有一些同学已经开始在计划从淘宝上买一个小织布机了。看样子，英文部高中就快有个织布俱乐部啦。

Today, our students had a special class in fashion design. The teachers brought in looms to give the class hands-on weaving experience, let them understand what it was like to work with textiles and develop their own bags, scarfs and other creations. Many of our design classes work by alternating between hands on experience and discussion of theory and today was no different. The students were very enthusiastic, enthralled by this new experience and a few even starting talking about getting a loom from taobao right after class. Looks like Liaoyuan might have a new weaving club soon.
