上海燎原双语学校国际部前身上海市燎原实验学校成立于1992年，2011年开办国际课程项目，并经闵行区教育局、安大略教育部以及AdvancED西北认证委员会认可。同时，我校也是经美国大学理事会认可的AP学校。

Shanghai Liaoyuan Private Bilingual High School has been in operation since 1992, and been using an international curriculum since 2011, accredited by the Minhang Education Bureau, The Ontario Education Ministry, and The AdvancED Northwest Accreditation Commission. It is also an official AP school recognized by The College Board.

Liaoyuan prepares students for overseas study through in a number of ways. To assist students in that transition from a local to Western educational approach, Liaoyuan uses an English-only environment and an experiential pedagogical methodology designed to enhance students’ ability to study and think independently. This involves surrounding the core academics with an extensive system of electives, extracurricular activities, tutoring support, overseas travel, and research opportunities, college counseling, intensive training in study skills, and self-reflection.
