专业概况

在这里学什么？ We are newly accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), reflecting our position as a world leader in teaching and student experience. Alongside our other accreditations, the AVMA accreditation means that graduates of this course will be able to practise in multiple countries around the world. Visit the Vet School web page for terms and details.Our modern curriculum introduces you to the integrated structure and function of healthy animals, and the mechanisms of disease and their clinical management. Themes running throughout the course instill the importance of professional skills, animal health and welfare and veterinary public health. For the first three years you will be based at the main university campus in Clifton, with at least one day a week spent at the clinical campus in Langford. Years four and five are taught at the Langford campus, with an extended final clinical year. 为来自中国的学生设计 The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is for international students whose first language is not English. Run by our Centre for Academic Language and Development, the one-year programme will prepare you for the undergraduate degree of your choice through tailored English language and academic units. Applicants with the Gaozhong Biye Zhengshu (Senior High School Certificate) and Gaokao (Chinese University entrance exam) combined with a successfully completed appropriate foundation programme will be considered for admission to our bachelor's degree courses. Applicants who have successfully completed the first year of a Chinese university degree at a prestigious university will be considered for admission to the first year of our bachelor's degree courses. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 overall with either listening or speaking at 6.5, with no skill below 6.0.
