专业概况
在这里学什么?The need for environmentally sustainable and equitable development is one of the most serious issues facing the contemporary world. The Bachelor of Development Studies/Bachelor of Global Indigenous Studies provides opportunities to study the Indigenous identity, culture and knowledges, as well as the causes and consequences of unequal development, and assess policy options for a more equitable and sustainable future. Drawing upon the expertise of the Faculty of Science and The Wollotuka Institute (widely regarded as a national leader in Indigenous education), the Bachelor of Development Studies/Bachelor of Global Indigenous Studies offers students an interdisciplinary understanding of uneven development, decolonization, identity cultures, and representation, that will enable students to be active global citizens ready to create innovative solutions to pressing issues in local, regional, national and international contexts.
The Faculty is home to authorities in their fields who engage in cutting-edge research and teaching. We provide our graduates with the expertise and skills to make a positive difference.
We offer a broad range of study and research opportunities across both established and emerging science disciplines, with over 40 coursework degree options available for students to follow their passion and develop their careers.
We are active collaborators with industry and our communities, and well versed in working across traditional disciplinary boundaries.

为来自中国的学生设计 There are a number of ways to gain entry to undergraduate programs at the University of Newcastle. You may be considered for admission on the basis of: a completed NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent – irrespective of age of qualification; completed or partly completed higher education studies; TAFE/VET qualifications, with a minimum of a completed Certificate III (AQF level 3), excluding the Bachelor of Nursing; TAFE/VET qualifications, with a minimum of a completed Certificate II (AQF level 2) in conjunction with meeting additional performance based selection criteria for the Bachelor of Music and associated combined degrees; completion of a recognised enabling program within a 10 year period preceding admission to the University; overseas qualifications equivalent to Australian studies. English language requirement: TOEFL paper-based test score of 500; TOEFL internet based score of 60; IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0; PTE GSE score of 50; Cambridge English: Advanced score of 52.课程信息
