在这里学什么？The Bachelor of Commerce is a practical and flexible degree, with core courses designed to give you a thorough overview of business and commerce environments, before you specialise in Accounting; Economics; or Finance. When you study a commerce degree at UON, you will be equipped to make a smooth transition from the classroom to the boardroom, by acquiring skills that employers value.
?A sense of global citizenship is imparted through international case studies and cross-cultural analysis. Through courses in your chosen major, you will gain insight into the interplay between the financial, legal, political and economic systems and how these factors influence the contemporary business environment, both in Australian and global contexts.

Commerce Majors
Accounting Major
Accountants measure and analyze not only what is happening within the organization in which they work, but also the broader financial environment.
A major in accounting will prepare you to assess the financial validity and future of organizations, as well as its investments, acquisitions, taxation, opportunities and threats.
Economics Major
Students who major in economics gain an understanding of how our economy is open to global forces and responds to government spending, interest rate changes and government regulations. This major is highly valued in the financial services industry, large corporations and international firms, as well as government departments and the Reserve Bank.
When you study economics as a major you will build advanced skills and focused knowledge essential for your employment success including the key principles of economic analysis and a range of sophisticated techniques of data and graphical analysis.
Finance Major
Understanding finance requires a detailed knowledge of both the business and financial environment. A major in Finance will teach you about money management, with a focus on investments, trading, financial law and risk.
The broad range of skills and knowledge as well as the international scope covered in a finance major will leave you work-ready for employment in global markets.

为来自中国的学生设计 There are a number of ways to gain entry to undergraduate programs at the University of Newcastle. You may be considered for admission on the basis of: a completed NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent – irrespective of age of qualification; completed or partly completed higher education studies; TAFE/VET qualifications, with a minimum of a completed Certificate III (AQF level 3), excluding the Bachelor of Nursing; TAFE/VET qualifications, with a minimum of a completed Certificate II (AQF level 2) in conjunction with meeting additional performance based selection criteria for the Bachelor of Music and associated combined degrees; completion of a recognised enabling program within a 10 year period preceding admission to the University; overseas qualifications equivalent to Australian studies. English language requirement: TOEFL paper-based test score of 500; TOEFL internet based score of 60; IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0; PTE GSE score of 50; Cambridge English: Advanced score of 52.课程信息
