在这里学什么?The impacts of climate variability and climate change are affecting our lives like never before. There is an urgent need to better understand, quantify, and adapt to climate-related risks.
The Bachelor of Climate Science and Adaptation is a specialized degree which will allow you to turn your passion into practice by providing you with fundamental tools to tackle the many challenges associated with quantifying and dealing with climate-related risks. You will learn how to assess the impacts of climate variability and change. You will also learn how to develop adaptation strategies (eg infrastructure, planning policy) that not only reduce the economic, environmental, and social costs of climate hazards, but are also optimal and robust across a range of plausible futures.
As part of this degree, you have the opportunity to tailor your studies to meet your career aspirations through elective pathways.

为来自中国的学生设计 There are a number of ways to gain entry to undergraduate programs at the University of Newcastle. You may be considered for admission on the basis of: a completed NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent – irrespective of age of qualification; completed or partly completed higher education studies; TAFE/VET qualifications, with a minimum of a completed Certificate III (AQF level 3), excluding the Bachelor of Nursing; TAFE/VET qualifications, with a minimum of a completed Certificate II (AQF level 2) in conjunction with meeting additional performance based selection criteria for the Bachelor of Music and associated combined degrees; completion of a recognised enabling program within a 10 year period preceding admission to the University; overseas qualifications equivalent to Australian studies. English language requirement: TOEFL paper-based test score of 500; TOEFL internet based score of 60; IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0; PTE GSE score of 50; Cambridge English: Advanced score of 52.课程信息
