我们自豪地宣布：2018 年7月，上海燎原双语学校已经收到了来自IB国际文凭组织的通知，我校已经通过IB PYP项目认证，正式成为一所IB世界学校。

The board and the management of Shanghai Liaoyuan Bilingual School are proud to announce that we have received notification from the International Baccalaureate that LYBS is now an authorized IB World School to offer the IB Primary Years Programme.

PYP 的认证过程具有挑战性，学校的所有成员都参与了此次的认证过程，*括学生、家长、教师、管理团队和董事会。

The PYP accreditation process is challenging and involves all members of the school community including students, parents, teachers, management team and the board.

两名经验丰富的 IB 国际文凭组织授权访问官在 2018 年 5 月底访问了燎原双语学校，对我校进行 IB PYP 项目认证。IB 授权访问官的**是为了检验我校是否达到了成为 IB 学校的实施标准，他们访问的内容*括课堂旁听、学生面谈、家长面谈、学校管理层面谈和董事会成员面谈，以及对学校 IB PYP 项目文件和相关支持的审查。

Our school was visited at the end of May by 2 experienced IB site visitors. Their job was to make sure that our school met the standards and practices to become and IB World School. The visit included, classroom observations, interviews with the leadership team, students, parents and the board and also the school’s documentation and supporting evidence.

上海市燎原双语学校是上海为数不多的成功整合了中国国家课程和 IB PYP 框架的学校之一，同时我们的所有授课也是在双语模式下进行的。

LYBS is one of the few schools in Shanghai that has successfully integrated the Chinese National Curriculum and the IB PYP Framework while also being delivered using a bilingual model.

在本次 IB PYP 项目认证的过程中，IB 授权访问官肯定了我校多方面的努力和成果，*括学校对 IB PYP 项目的深入研究、与教师团队、与学生家长长期有效的沟通。正如此次 IB PYP 认证过程中所强调的，我校还将继续提升和改善 IB PYP 项目在学校方方面面的推行和实施。

The school received a number of commendations from the IB including that the school community has a high level of understanding of the IB PYP Programme and the effective communication between different parties including parents and the teachers. LYBS will continue to work on improving all aspects of the PYP Programme as also highlighted in the visit.

此次燎原双语学校 PYP 项目的认证成功仅是一个起点，我们将会继续推行 IB 课程的其他项目。我们招募了核心团队以继续我们的 IB 之旅，并已经成为了 IB MYP 候选学校，明年还将继续启动 IB PYP 幼儿园早期课程。

LYBS is committed to continuing it IB journey and investing in our different programmes. We have currently recruited several key staff to help continue our IB journey. Our school is currently a candidate school with the MYP and will also launch the PYP in the Early Years next year.
