The Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) from Charles Sturt University offers fascinating insights into human nature relevant to every community, career and workplace. Choose the study mode that suits you – study online or on campus at Bathurst, Port Macquarie and Wagga Wagga. Subject to approval, you may receive credit for prior study and graduate sooner. When you study with CSU you may also apply to complete some subjects at an international university.

Gain a solid foundation

When you study a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) at CSU you will gain well-developed knowledge in cognition, developmental and social psychology, psychological testing, biopsychology, psychopathology, personality, learning theory and research methodology.

Transfer to further study

The Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) may be used as a pathway to the Bachelor of Psychology for students who do not meet the initial entry requirements, as the ATAR (or equivalent) for entry into the Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) is lower. Students in the Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) who meet certain eligibility criteria at the end of third year will be eligible to transfer to the Bachelor of Psychology or Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) program.

Academic IELTS (International English Language Testing System) overall score of at least 6.0; TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) internet based score of 60, Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic score of 50; TOEFL PBT: 550; Cambridge English Scale: CAE and CPE from 2015: 169.
