If you’re looking to build a career that will enhance people's health and wellbeing, the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Charles Sturt University will develop and inspire your passion to rise to challenges and make a difference to people, their families and communities.

Occupational therapists work with people to improve their health and wellbeing, with a focus on physical and mental health that may be related to a person's injury or illness, or to an accident or developmental impairment.

Course highlights

You will graduate from CSU's four-year, full-time occupational therapy degree with a detailed understanding of the theoretical and practical components of occupational therapy, allowing you to confidently step into the workforce and begin a rewarding career as an occupational therapist.

Engage with people of all ages

From aged-care facilities to early childhood centres and schools – you'll be able to put your occupational therapy skills to work with a diverse range of community members and groups.

Lead community health services and health promotion

Help people undertake meaningful occupation by working in mental health services, rehabilitation centres, and drug and alcohol services.

Work in public and private hospitals and private practice

Treat patients recovering from accident, illness or injury to help them regain their independence and quality of life.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students are required to complete international academic qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12 (or equivalent). Academic IELTS (International English Language Testing System) overall score of at least 6.0; TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) internet based score of 60, Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic score of 50; TOEFL PBT: 550; Cambridge English Scale: CAE and CPE from 2015: 169.
