专业概况

Western Michigan University's economics in business program develops your abilities to identify complex problems, think analytically and apply strategic decision making processes. This degree prepares you for a career in a number of fields, including commodities trading, journalism and foreign service, among others.

You'll go beyond the classroom in this Haworth College of Business program, having the opportunity to join several business-related organizations. You’ll also be equipped with the skills needed to further your professional studies in programs such as economics, law, public administration and more.

A full **** of economics in business graduates are employed or in graduate school within three months of graduation.

Beyond the classroom

To be successful as an economics in business major, it is important to apply the fundamental skills learned inside the classroom to real-world experience. Through the Economics Student Association, you will discuss current issues while visiting with economics scholars.
