Interested in turning measurements into insight? With a business analytics major from Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business, you will play an increasingly important role as organizations seriously examine data.

In order to deliver exceptional business performance, it is crucial that businesses actively analyze internal and external data to drive their decisions. Opportunities abound for tech-savvy business people who know how to deal intelligently with data.

The business analytics major prepares students to succeed in a data-driven world, providing exposure to software platforms and techniques used to store, transform, manipulate, analyze and interpret small and large sets of data.

Beyond the classroom

As a business analytics student at WMU, you will be eligible to apply for scholarships available through our department. To qualify, you will submit an online application that outlines your qualities as a student and how you plan to impact the world through information technology.

Jobs available include: business analyst, marketing analyst, business intelligence analyst, project manager, solution architect, health analytics, and many others.

为来自中国的学生设计 A first-year applicant is a student who is applying for admission and who has not attempted or earned any college credit after graduating from high school (or earned equivalent). Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) A minimum score of 61 iBT is required. Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) A minimum score of 69 is required. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic Module. A minimum score of 6.0 is required. Pearson Test of English Academic Module. A minimum score of 45 is required.
