The fashion industry is on the lookout for a new breed of designers – creative thinkers who can combine fresh, original and inspiring designs with the practical and technical know-how to produce them for commercial success. The Bachelor of Branded Fashion Design will challenge both your creative and business mind – and will groom you for a world-class career as a Brand Fashion Designer, Buyer, Merchandise Planner or Product Developer. Having this qualification under your belt also means you could launch your own fashion range. You’ll graduate with a highly respected qualification, specialist design skills and a professional-calibre portfolio that opens doors.

Our Branded Fashion course is different from what’s on offer anywhere else. You’ll focus on branding, production processes, digital design skills and fashion design for brands. You will learn how to create a range of brand-design solutions, liaise with others across the fashion industry, and use the latest software to communicate your product design ideas. Throughout the course, you’ll discover how to produce clothing designs to industry standards while meeting budgets and timelines and find out how to manage the integrity and positioning of a brand. In the practical, real-world Design Studio subjects, you’ll learn all aspects of fashion design – how to use form, shape and color, choosing materials, matching ideas with purpose, and more. Led by highly regarded industry professionals, you’ll investigate the theories behind design and marketing, evaluate communication and brand-fashion strategies, and scrutinise past, present and future fashion trends. You’ll enhance your forecasting, project-management and drawing skills, and understand the difference between fashion and clothing, brand label and designer label. The design work you do throughout your study will contribute to a professional portfolio, demonstrating your dynamic skills – your passport to a serious design career. Graduating with Bachelor of Branded Fashion Design equips you with comprehensive know-how, skills and confidence for a successful and dynamic future in the branded fashion design space.
