专业概况

在这里学什么？ Our rich and challenging liberal arts programme allows you to explore the arts and humanities while building crucial skills in analysis and communication that will be valuable to you throughout your degree and beyond.In years one and two you take a combination of bespoke core units exploring foundational issues in the arts and a choice of optional units from the full range of disciplines offered in the Faculty of Arts.You also take a numeracy and a language unit during the first two years, as well as embarking on your specialist subject pathway. At least a quarter of your studies is devoted to your subject pathway, which you will be able to choose from one of the disciplines in the Faculty of Arts.The final year includes a dissertation and a unit that provides opportunities for working with organisations outside the University.

为来自中国的学生设计 The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is for international students whose first language is not English. Run by our Centre for Academic Language and Development, the one-year programme will prepare you for the undergraduate degree of your choice through tailored English language and academic units. Applicants with the Gaozhong Biye Zhengshu (Senior High School Certificate) and Gaokao (Chinese University entrance exam) combined with a successfully completed appropriate foundation programme will be considered for admission to our bachelor's degree courses. Applicants who have successfully completed the first year of a Chinese university degree at a prestigious university will be considered for admission to the first year of our bachelor's degree courses. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 overall with either listening or speaking at 6.5, with no skill below 6.0.
