在这里学什么？ We place particular emphasis on undergraduate research. At Bristol, students ‘do’ history as well as read history through a mix of core units and a choice of primary source-based optional units. You will undertake one substantial piece of independent research each year, culminating in a final-year dissertation.In the first year you will study themes in medieval, early modern and modern history. You will then pursue your own pathway through the degree, choosing from a wide range of thematic and research-oriented units. Choice and small-group teaching are embedded in the degree at every level.In recent years topics have included:- Witchcraft;- Thatcherism;- Popular Culture in Early Modern England;- 20th-Century America.Many units explore topics and periods that have a direct link to our world today.You also have the opportunity of studying abroad in Australia, Europe or the US during the second semester of your second year.所属院系

为来自中国的学生设计 The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is for international students whose first language is not English. Run by our Centre for Academic Language and Development, the one-year programme will prepare you for the undergraduate degree of your choice through tailored English language and academic units. Applicants with the Gaozhong Biye Zhengshu (Senior High School Certificate) and Gaokao (Chinese University entrance exam) combined with a successfully completed appropriate foundation programme will be considered for admission to our bachelor's degree courses. Applicants who have successfully completed the first year of a Chinese university degree at a prestigious university will be considered for admission to the first year of our bachelor's degree courses. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 overall with either listening or speaking at 6.5, with no skill below 6.0.课程信息
