专业概况
在这里学什么？ This degree offers you the flexibility to follow your own interests in classical civilisation by combining core units on Greco-Roman literature and culture with more specialised units on topics such as ancient literature, philosophy, history, art and archaeology.In your first two years you will explore core topics in the literary and artistic culture of the ancient Greco-Roman world and consider its legacy in the modern world. You will choose optional units from a range of topics in ancient literature, history and culture and you may also choose to study Greek or Latin. There is the possibility of studying abroad in your second year.In your third year you choose seminar-based subjects and write a dissertation on your own specialist research project. You will also plan, promote and execute a project aimed at presenting the ancient world to the wider public, with a member of staff acting as adviser.所属院系

为来自中国的学生设计 The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is for international students whose first language is not English. Run by our Centre for Academic Language and Development, the one-year programme will prepare you for the undergraduate degree of your choice through tailored English language and academic units. Applicants with the Gaozhong Biye Zhengshu (Senior High School Certificate) and Gaokao (Chinese University entrance exam) combined with a successfully completed appropriate foundation programme will be considered for admission to our bachelor's degree courses. Applicants who have successfully completed the first year of a Chinese university degree at a prestigious university will be considered for admission to the first year of our bachelor's degree courses. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 overall with either listening or speaking at 6.5, with no skill below 6.0.课程信息
