专业概况

The department offers a concentration in Instructional Technology under the Master of Science degree with a major in Education. All courses for this degree are offered online through Distance Education. The degree prepares students to design, develop, implement, and evaluate online learning environments. These skills will be desirable in a variety of contexts such as education, corporate, government, and nonprofit organizations.

Additional Course Requirements

• To meet program requirements, students must select courses in consultation with a program advisor. Program totals are minimums and some students may be required to complete additional coursework to overcome background deficiencies.

Non-Course Requirements

• The portfolio satisfies the requirements for a project non-thesis Master’s. A Portfolio Exam is required with a grade of Pass to earn the Master’s degree.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by the appropriate regional accrediting agency, recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEEA). A non-U.S.?degree must be equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from the United States and must be granted by a recognized or accredited foreign institution. United States degree holders must have earned a minimum of 2.7 out of a possible 4.0 GPA or a minimum of 3.0 during the senior year of undergraduate study. If you have completed previous graduate coursework, you must have earned a minimum of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0 GPA. Minimum score requirements for admission to the Graduate School are: a total score of 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT), a 6.5 overall band score on the IELTS.
