Required Courses

• 24 (thesis option) or 27 (project option) or 30 (Course Work only without comprehensive exams) credit hours of graduate course work
  • At least two-thirds of the total credit hours must be at the 500-level or above
  • At least 6 credit hours selected from the following courses: ECE 504, ECE 505, ECE 533, ECE 551, ECE 553, ECE 555, ECE 572, COSC 522, and COSC 530.
• Option Specific Courses:
  • Thesis Option: ECE 500 (6 credit hours)
  • Project Option: ECE 501 (3 credit hours), with a minimum grade of B. This course will be administered by the student’s master’s committee

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by the appropriate regional accrediting agency, recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEEA). A non-U.S.?degree must be equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from the United States and must be granted by a recognized or accredited foreign institution. United States degree holders must have earned a minimum of 2.7 out of a possible 4.0 GPA or a minimum of 3.0 during the senior year of undergraduate study. If you have completed previous graduate coursework, you must have earned a minimum of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0 GPA. Minimum score requirements for admission to the Graduate School are: a total score of 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT), a 6.5 overall band score on the IELTS.
