This 3+1 Pathway to Masters program allows you to fast-track your career by completing an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in just four years. You will be able to diversify your skill set, increase your earning potential with a more advanced qualification, and expand your career opportunities across a range of fields.

In your undergraduate studies, you will be provided with a solid grounding in the essentials of global business, and with a specialisation in tourism and event management you’ll gain the skills and knowledge that employers highly value.

During your studies you will have opportunities to attend and critique events and volunteer at major events locally and overseas.. You will develop a solid theoretical grounding, industry knowledge and the management skills to enhance your career prospects across the diverse tourism, event and hospitality business sectors.

In our Master of Management (Marketing) degree, you will learn contemporary management skills and study areas such as marketing strategy and planning. You will gain the confidence to manage organisations and achieve business objectives in an efficient and effective manner.

You will be immersed in real-world challenges and have access to practical-based electives including industry internships, simulation projects and our entrepreneur-based course Startup Studio, which teaches you how to bring a business concept to life. You will also benefit from other experience-based learning opportunities, including overseas study and business mentoring. Our summer and winter schools also offer exciting study and learning opportunities.

What you'll learn

The degree starts with core courses in business. These will give you a solid grasp of business fundamentals such as economics, accounting and business intelligence. You will then go on to study specialised areas such as:

marketing for tourism, events and hospitality service management in tourism, events and hospitality destination management the international business environment

In your postgraduate studies, you will advance your knowledge and skills in contemporary management practice. Develop your expertise in core areas such as business ethics, business analytics, leadership and performance, and strategic thinking. Learn how to effectively manage organisations and achieve key business objectives.

Through these you will develop skills and expertise in areas that include:

business analytics and the data-driven organisation people, leadership and performance buyer behaviour insights marketing strategy and planning advanced marketing analytics

You can gain an extra qualification and broaden your career prospects by completing a Diploma in Languages.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 program. In order to gain entry, students require an additional year of study following their high school studies. For example, this can include successful completion of: One year of study at a recognised tertiary or higher education institution. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: Overall 6.0 (with 6.0 in Reading and Writing); TOEFL iBT score of 60 with Reading and Writing not less than 18; TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) score of 550 with TWE of 4.5; Cambridge CAE/CPE score of 169; Pearson's test of English (Academic) (PTE) score of 50 with Reading and Writing communicative scores not less than 50; CELUSA score of AE4.
