在这里学什么？ **Why an Integrated Foundation Stage?**An Integrated Foundation Stage starts your degree studies with a year spent learning the skills required to progress onto a full honours degree. Alongside an introduction to History and Religious Studies, you will develop valuable study skills, communication, team work and problem-solving techniques which help to build your confidence and prepare you for the rest of your course.**Why History and Religious Studies?**Our History and Religious Studies degree enables you to discover how belief and history intersect to influence each other and the world around us, shaping individual, social and cultural identities. You’ll gain hands-on experience investigating and interpreting events and evidence, examining key texts, artefacts and ideas, as you develop your understanding of major religious and historical developments, values and trends. Our strong local and international partnerships also offer you the chance to engage with a variety of heritage, social and religious organisations, through guest lectures, placement and field trip opportunities (additional costs may apply, see course web page for details). Previous destinations have included the USA, Canada, India and Spain, in addition to a range of UK locations.Our experienced academic team will help you develop in-demand skills in research, critical thinking and communication, along with expertise in your field. There are opportunities to tailor your studies to your individual interests and ambitions, specialising in subjects such as British, European, American and Soviet history, as well as in major world religions (Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism), new expressions of spirituality and non-religious movements. 为来自中国的学生设计 Students need to have Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with the Senior Secondary Academic Proficiency Test ( Putong Gaozhong Xueye Shuiping Kaoshi)/ Huikao? with a minimum grade of 70% AND a recognised Foundation course certificate with a successful pass grade. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with the Senior Secondary Academic Proficiency Test (Putong Gaozhong Xueye Shuiping Kaoshi)/ Huikao with a minimum grade of 80%. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate AND the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE)/ Gaokao with a minimum score of 70% in a relevant stream. NB: The accepted stream differs by course, e.g. if a science A Level is required for course entry then the science stream is required; if an arts/humanities subject A level is required for course entry then the arts stream is required. However, either the science or the arts stream is acceptable for entry to Business and Management courses. One year (or more) of university study in China with a minimum grade of 70% overall. Undergraduate (Level 6 top up/ Advanced entry to Bachelor degrees)?: Two-three year Diploma (Da Zhuan / Zhuanke) in a related subject area. Successful completion of a minimum 2 years’ university study in a related subject area. IELTS 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band.
