在这里学什么？ **Why Forensic Psychology?**Our Forensic Psychology degree will prepare you for a rewarding career, whether you’re looking to progress to further study and become a forensic psychologist, or are interested in a range of roles in the criminal justice system, security services, victim support or youth work. You’ll examine different types of offenders and offences ranging from anti-social behaviour, to sexual violence and terrorism, as well as the impact on victims and the help they may need to give witness evidence.Forensic content will be integral to your studies rather than just an ‘added extra’, while our course is also designed to ensure you complete the core curriculum requirements set by the British Psychological Society (BPS). You’ll cover essential topics including risks and protective factors in psychological development, intelligence and investigations, and understanding the criminal mind. You can also tailor your degree to match your own interests and career ambitions, learning about specialist subject areas such as addictive behaviours, serious crime analysis and behavioural investigative advice, responding to sexual violence, and crime scene forensics.Drawing on the expert knowledge of our lecturers, you’ll build hands-on experience throughout your time with us. 为来自中国的学生设计 Students need to have Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with the Senior Secondary Academic Proficiency Test ( Putong Gaozhong Xueye Shuiping Kaoshi)/ Huikao? with a minimum grade of 70% AND a recognised Foundation course certificate with a successful pass grade. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with the Senior Secondary Academic Proficiency Test (Putong Gaozhong Xueye Shuiping Kaoshi)/ Huikao with a minimum grade of 80%. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate AND the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE)/ Gaokao with a minimum score of 70% in a relevant stream. NB: The accepted stream differs by course, e.g. if a science A Level is required for course entry then the science stream is required; if an arts/humanities subject A level is required for course entry then the arts stream is required. However, either the science or the arts stream is acceptable for entry to Business and Management courses. One year (or more) of university study in China with a minimum grade of 70% overall. Undergraduate (Level 6 top up/ Advanced entry to Bachelor degrees)?: Two-three year Diploma (Da Zhuan / Zhuanke) in a related subject area. Successful completion of a minimum 2 years’ university study in a related subject area. IELTS 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band.
