专业概况

在这里学什么？

The Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology is designed for the student who wish to pursue psychology as part of a liberal arts education. It is primarily designed for students who wish to obtain graduate degrees in psychology or pursue professional training in medicine, law, dentistry or related fields. Beyond the minimum course requirements in psychology, the students take courses in the liberal arts and in foreign language.

Career Options

A number of exciting career options are now available to graduates of our psychology programs at the bachelor's degree level. (Programs have been designed to fit the job market for the next decade and beyond.) Positions for which employers seek our graduates include: personnel director, human resource planner, labor negotiator, case manager, qualified mental retardation professional, attendant care worker, substance abuse counselor, human relations officer, and consumer behavior analyst. Many other options are also now open to bachelor's degree holders in psychology.

为来自中国的学生设计 High School Academic Records: A minimum GPA (grade point average) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in high school and have earned a high school diploma; International College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in an accredited international post-secondary institution (college/university); U.S. College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) if transferring from an accredited U.S. college with at least 24 credit hours (approximately one year of college work). English Language Requirements: TOEFL score of at least 520 (paper) or 190 (computer) or 68 (internet); IELTS score - Overall band of 6.0 (with a minimum score of 5.0; PTE Overall score of 47.
