This visionary, industry-focused course is for those who want to dig into the rich fields of design – led by experienced creatives as well as professionals from across various other industries. It offers an exciting opportunity for advanced study in design, and encourages designers, developers, technologists, programmers, artists and teachers to explore the convergent space between design, project management and business disciplines. At the same time, you’ll learn about cutting-edge technologies, systems and applications. You’ll throw conventions up into the air, to see which rules apply and which don’t. On graduating, you’ll have an impressive portfolio that’s sure to lead to work at the highest levels.

International students on a student visa must not enroll into any more than a third or 33% of online subjects over their course and must study at least one subject that is face to face in each trimester.

In the core subjects, you’ll explore conceptual challenges and questions of visual expressions in your quest to develop useful, usable and appropriate designs for good. You’ll explore aspects of the user experience, the role of design in humanizing information, and the aesthetic and practical dynamics of effective communication and branding in the international industry landscape. With a variety of electives to choose from, you can design your course to suit your interests. Led by highly regarded design professionals, you’ll extend your managerial skills and practice; build your understanding of strategic processes; use creative tools and design research; discover the convergent space between disciplines; and explore the latest design theories, practice and innovation. You’ll graduate with skills and knowledge that will take your career to the next level, no matter what field you’re in. And if you wish, you can enter or exit with a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Design.
