The Bachelor of Health Science (Aesthetics) aims to equip professionals with a diverse range of clinical capabilities, focusing on preventative skin health and anti-ageing dermal therapies. Supported by a theoretical foundation in health science, graduates will be capable of performing and developing advanced skin health protocols, and responding to a range of client/patient conditions using high levels of aesthetic technology. The Bachelor of Health Science (Aesthetics) addresses the need for dermal professionals to possess formal qualifications, not just experience. Graduates are immersed within the theoretical principles and clinical application framework, required to work safely and ethically within the Dermal Aesthetics industry.

Our dynamic student clinic offers a range of client treatments, designed to help you get ready for your first real job in the beauty therapy industry.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Perform and coordinate various dermal treatments efficiently following the necessary health and safety processes and procedures within a clinical environment. Determine and develop integrated frameworks and treatment plans based on a thorough understanding of client’s needs. Identify and review current research developments, methods and skills appropriate to the Aesthetics sector to determine its impact on the sector.
