上海常青藤学校所有选修历史课的9、10和11年级学生都参加了地理比赛。**轮中，所有学生组成两到三人组成进行了比赛。

地理知识竞赛

**轮*括三类：大区域国家，中区域国家和小区域国家。老师先向学生显示了每个类别的六个国家的轮廓，他们需要用英语正确拼写其国家名称(在老师的帮助下)。

此后，每个年级的前两名组合进入到后一轮比赛。最后一轮有四个类别，每个类别有六个国家，按洲划分为：美洲国家，欧洲国家，非洲国家和亚洲国家。

最后，比赛结果产生了!**名是来自11年级的Walt，Sue和Rachel。第二名是来自10年级的Benjamin和Chris。第三名是来自10年级的James和Brooklyn。第四名是来自9年级的Masa和Herman。第五名是来自11年级的Mike和Tony Fu。

所有学生都表现出色!令人欣喜的是，他们知道很多国家，并且都会用英语表达它们。大家在比赛中都表现得非常优秀!

This year the students from Grades 9, 10, and 11 who have History class all took part in the Geography Bee.

In the first round all the students participated in teams of two or three people. The first round consisted of three categories: large area countries, medium area countries, and small area countries. The students were shown the outline of six countries for each category and they needed to spell the name correctly in English (with help from teachers).

Following this, the top two teams from each grade went on to compete in the final round. The final round had four categories and each category having six countries.

The categories were split by continents: American countries, European countries, African countries, and Asian countries.

Finally, we have the winners! First place is from Grade 11: Walt, Sue, and Rachel. Second place is from Grade 10: Benjamin and Chris. Third place is from Grade 10: James and Brooklyn. Fourth place is from Grade 9: Masa and Herman. Fifth place is from Grade 11: Mike and Tony Fu.

All the students did very well and surprised me with how many countries they could recognize, especially in English. Great job to everyone!
