专业概况

在这里学什么？ You will study topics such as asset pricing, corporate finance, financial management, financial reporting, auditing, international finance, management accounting and taxation, as well as other units offered within the school.In the first year you will gain skills across the core disciplines of accounting, economics, finance and mathematics before pursuing more specialised units as your interests develop.In your second and final years you will learn more advanced theory and techniques and will study financial accounting, management accounting and finance in more depth. We will teach you how to analyse data from quantitative models and you will choose several options from a range of units, some of which may contribute to exemptions from professional examinations.You can extend your degree to four years by applying to transfer to our four-year professional placement course or spend a year studying abroad in English during your third year:- BSc Accounting and Finance with Professional Placement- BSc Accounting and Finance with Study Abroad (also available via direct entry).Places are allocated on merit depending on first-year examination results and a successful placement year offer of employment from a qualifying employer for the Professional Placement course.

为来自中国的学生设计 The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is for international students whose first language is not English. Run by our Centre for Academic Language and Development, the one-year programme will prepare you for the undergraduate degree of your choice through tailored English language and academic units. Applicants with the Gaozhong Biye Zhengshu (Senior High School Certificate) and Gaokao (Chinese University entrance exam) combined with a successfully completed appropriate foundation programme will be considered for admission to our bachelor's degree courses. Applicants who have successfully completed the first year of a Chinese university degree at a prestigious university will be considered for admission to the first year of our bachelor's degree courses. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 overall with either listening or speaking at 6.5, with no skill below 6.0.
