在这里学什么？ There aren’t too many jobs as rewarding as midwifery. But this four-year degree goes one step further. Alongside gaining core midwifery skills and experience, you’ll also discover what it takes to be a clinical and professional leader within the industry.The NHS needs midwives. Midwives work in a range of roles and settings which need effective leadership. Only one university offers a pre-registration midwifery Masters degree with an integrated leadership component - Leicester.We have partnered with the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (UHL) and Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) to deliver this course. This degree draws on more than 40 years of health education as well as the expertise of our School of Allied Health Professions and our School of Business.This degree puts leadership at the heart of the curriculum. Throughout your degree you will not only be mentored by experienced clinical midwives to learn the fundamental midwifery skills, but also by experienced leaders in the NHS and the wider midwifery profession.You will spend over 50% of your time on placements working alongside experienced midwives and the multi-professional team. You will be supported in developing your knowledge, skills and professional values to become a safe, competent and confident midwife.This Masters degree lasts four years, at the end of which there will be employment opportunities as a midwife in the local NHS.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students who have already completed the first year of an undergraduate degree at a Chinese university, you may be considered for entry to the first year of a Bachelors degree if you have studied relevant subjects. English Language Requirements: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
