The MSN in Nursing Administration degree prepares students for leadership roles in a variety of clinical settings. In addition to building advanced nursing knowledge, the Nursing Administration degree also fosters problem-solving, conflict management, communication, and collaboration skill development. Students also learn how to apply principles of stewardship to the process of decision making.

The curriculum features practicum experiences that provide students with a breadth and depth of experience in upper management and executive-level positions. Graduates of the MSN in Nursing Administration program are capable of designing strategies that positively impact influential healthcare delivery policies. They are well-rounded and prepared to implement standards of nursing practice that are grounded in a mission congruent with the healthcare settings.

Nursing Administration Certification Opportunities

Graduates of the MSN in Nursing Administration program may elect to become certified by the ANCC as either Nurse Executive or Nurse Executive Advanced, depending on their administrative experience or the AONL as either a Nurse Manager Leader or an Executive in Nursing Practice. The program provides 420 clock hours of supervised practicum.

为来自中国的学生设计 Baccalaureate degree from accredited college or university; undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; Internet based TOEFL (iBT, Test of English as a Foreign Language) with a minimum score of 80; or TOEFL paper-and-pencil test with a minimum score of 550, accompanied by the Test of Written English (TWE) with a minimum score of 5; or MELAB score of 77 or higher on all parts; or IELTS score of 6.5+; or PTE Academic score of 53.
