在这里学什么？ **Why an Integrated Foundation Stage?**An Integrated Foundation Stage starts your degree studies with a year spent learning the skills required to progress onto a full honours degree. Alongside an introduction to Creative Writing, you will develop valuable study skills, communication, team work and problem-solving techniques which help to build your confidence and prepare you for the rest of your course.**Why Creative Writing?**Our Creative Writing degree enables you to focus on your existing creative passions and experiment with a wide range of styles, modes and genres. You’ll explore fundamentals of prose, poetry and dramatic writing, before specialising in an area (or areas) to suit your own interests and career ambitions. As well as the chance to gain experience with organisations such as the Parabola Arts Centre, the Everyman Theatre and Johnson & Alcock literary agency, you’ll meet established authors, agents and editors as you learn more about how to succeed in the publishing industry. You can also immerse yourself in a vibrant local literary culture, with The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival right on your doorstep.You’ll draw on the expertise of experienced lecturers including professional authors specialising in a range of genres such as transgressive writing, confessional poetry, sci-fi, horror and speculative fiction. There are opportunities to join our Creative Writing society and showcase work in a variety of settings, including at open mic nights and through staged readings of plays by actors. You could also see your work published in our student-led magazine, ‘Show Don’t Tell’, or in our annual paperback anthology, the ‘New Writing’ series. **Why University of Gloucestershire?**We’ve been using our expertise to support and inspire students since 1847. 为来自中国的学生设计 Students need to have Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with the Senior Secondary Academic Proficiency Test ( Putong Gaozhong Xueye Shuiping Kaoshi)/ Huikao? with a minimum grade of 70% AND a recognised Foundation course certificate with a successful pass grade. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with the Senior Secondary Academic Proficiency Test (Putong Gaozhong Xueye Shuiping Kaoshi)/ Huikao with a minimum grade of 80%. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate AND the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE)/ Gaokao with a minimum score of 70% in a relevant stream. NB: The accepted stream differs by course, e.g. if a science A Level is required for course entry then the science stream is required; if an arts/humanities subject A level is required for course entry then the arts stream is required. However, either the science or the arts stream is acceptable for entry to Business and Management courses. One year (or more) of university study in China with a minimum grade of 70% overall. Undergraduate (Level 6 top up/ Advanced entry to Bachelor degrees)?: Two-three year Diploma (Da Zhuan / Zhuanke) in a related subject area. Successful completion of a minimum 2 years’ university study in a related subject area. IELTS 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band.
