在这里学什么？ **Why Computer Science (with placement)?**Our Computer Science degree helps you build your technical and entrepreneurial skills, working with industry names such as Hewlett-Packard, Fujitsu and GE Aviation. You’ll learn to patent your designs and prepare a professional portfolio to help launch your career. There’ll be the chance to work on real business briefs, from the development of mobile apps, to hardware platforms and mission critical software. With opportunities for work placements with companies such as Accenture and Renishaw, as well as paid freelance work during the course, our graduates stand out from the competition. There is even the chance to design and build a line-tracing robotic car and travel to Germany to participate in the European Renesas MCU Car Rally.You’ll draw on the expertise of experienced lecturers as you develop your abilities in computing problem solving and software engineering, learning high and low-level languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, HTML5 and CSS. 为来自中国的学生设计 Students need to have Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with the Senior Secondary Academic Proficiency Test ( Putong Gaozhong Xueye Shuiping Kaoshi)/ Huikao? with a minimum grade of 70% AND a recognised Foundation course certificate with a successful pass grade. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with the Senior Secondary Academic Proficiency Test (Putong Gaozhong Xueye Shuiping Kaoshi)/ Huikao with a minimum grade of 80%. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate AND the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE)/ Gaokao with a minimum score of 70% in a relevant stream. NB: The accepted stream differs by course, e.g. if a science A Level is required for course entry then the science stream is required; if an arts/humanities subject A level is required for course entry then the arts stream is required. However, either the science or the arts stream is acceptable for entry to Business and Management courses. One year (or more) of university study in China with a minimum grade of 70% overall. Undergraduate (Level 6 top up/ Advanced entry to Bachelor degrees)?: Two-three year Diploma (Da Zhuan / Zhuanke) in a related subject area. Successful completion of a minimum 2 years’ university study in a related subject area. IELTS 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band.
