在这里学什么？ This joint honours degree combines a full course in music with the study of French language, literature and culture.Music offers a broad range of units in musicology, composition and performance across diverse styles and genres. These are complemented by weekly concerts, regular masterclasses and performances in the department, and opportunities to get involved in the dynamic music scene in the city of Bristol. The department is exceptionally friendly and welcoming and staff run ensembles and perform with students.French is the first language of some 90 million speakers around the world. Francophone countries offer diverse and stimulating cultures for study, and the importance of French in European business and diplomacy makes knowledge of the language and associated culture both necessary and rewarding.You will spend your third year abroad in a French-speaking environment, which will enable you to refine your language skills and cultural knowledge.

为来自中国的学生设计 The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is for international students whose first language is not English. Run by our Centre for Academic Language and Development, the one-year programme will prepare you for the undergraduate degree of your choice through tailored English language and academic units. Applicants with the Gaozhong Biye Zhengshu (Senior High School Certificate) and Gaokao (Chinese University entrance exam) combined with a successfully completed appropriate foundation programme will be considered for admission to our bachelor's degree courses. Applicants who have successfully completed the first year of a Chinese university degree at a prestigious university will be considered for admission to the first year of our bachelor's degree courses. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 overall with either listening or speaking at 6.5, with no skill below 6.0.
