在这里学什么？

The Bachelor of Information Technology is your stepping stone to a career in computing, software development and the information services industries. You will learn using the latest industry tools, technologies and research. Our IT degrees have a number of flexible entry pathways and a common first year. You can switch between specialisations and get credit for the courses you’ve already completed.

By tailoring your studies to your interests, you can prepare for a rewarding career as an IT professional.

What you'll learn

You will start your degree with core courses in information technology. These will give you a solid grounding in important areas such as IT, networking, database and programming fundamentals, and systems requirements.

You will then choose two minors where you can focus on areas of IT that really interest you. At least one of your minors must be an IT minor chosen from these areas:

Careers to consider:

software developer: developing, coding, testing and debugging software applications; interpreting customer requirements; working with a team to research, design, and write software; working with others to understand and resolve issues in existing software database administrator: managing secure databases, servers and environments; analysing and tuning databases for optimal efficiency; providing specialist database advice; maintaining compliance; ensuring database uptime and standards networking analyst: supporting infrastructure for wired network connections, wireless access points and remotely connected users; ensuring continuous network operations; performing installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrade, documentation, and operational support of network equipment

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 program. In order to gain entry, students require an additional year of study following their high school studies. For example, this can include successful completion of: One year of study at a recognised tertiary or higher education institution. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: Overall 6.0 (with 6.0 in Reading and Writing); TOEFL iBT score of 60 with Reading and Writing not less than 18; TOEFL paper-based test (PBT) score of 550 with TWE of 4.5; Cambridge CAE/CPE score of 169; Pearson's test of English (Academic) (PTE) score of 50 with Reading and Writing communicative scores not less than 50; CELUSA score of AE4.
