This programme is designed to develop the confidence required to perform as highly effective individual clinicians and in the leadership and consultancy roles expected of the clinical psychologist of the future. The Trent Programme is designed to train people from diverse backgrounds to become resourceful clinicians capable of drawing on a broad range of psychological models and theories, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to inform their practice as HCPC registered and BPS Chartered Clinical Psychologists. The programme aims to develop the strengths of both scientist-practitioner and reflective-practitioner stances, skills in a variety of assessment, formulation and intervention techniques, confidence in using research methods to answer clinical questions, organisational and service evaluation skills, and awareness of priority groups within the NHS. The Trent (Universities of Lincoln and Nottingham) Programme is a multi-agency collaboration between Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust, Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and the Universities of Lincoln and Nottingham. The Trent Programme is a three-year full-time programme. It is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and leads to a professional qualification in Clinical Psychology (Doctor of Clinical Psychology - DClinPsy). Career and Personal Development: This programme aims to develop the confidence to perform as a highly effective individual clinician, and in the leadership and consultancy roles expected of the clinical psychologists of the future.

为来自中国的学生设计 Prospective students require one of the following qualifications: A Chinese degree from a recognised institution with a minimum average grade of 70% (GPA 2.5), some programmes may require 80% or a GPA 3.0; Successful completion of a UK Bachelor degree with a minimum grade of 2:2. Students need to have an IELTS score of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score). Some courses require a higher IELTS score.
