专业概况

在这里学什么？ The BA (Hons) Journalism and Public Relations degree aims to cover topics that are essential for communications professionals to develop analytical techniques and problem-solving abilities, as well as the cross-disciplinary skills needed for a career in journalism and public relations. A combination of journalism and public relations-focused modules offers the opportunity to develop an understanding of how the two disciplines converge. The University is home to Cygnet PR, a student-run PR agency where students have the opportunity to experience working on live projects for external clients. There may be opportunities to work on the University’s student magazine, print and web publications and at its community and student radio stations, Siren FM and Brayford Radio, based on campus.

为来自中国的学生设计 Prospective students require one of the following qualifications for entry into year one of an undergraduate degree: Successful completion of a Foundation programme with a minimum of 50% plus an average of 70% or above in High School. Some programmes may require a higher foundation score e.g. 60%; Successful completion of the first year of a Chinese degree / Diploma with an average grade of 70% or above. Students who have successfully completed a HND BTEC or SQA qualification may be accepted directly into year two or three of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course on a case by case basis. Students who have successfully completed the second or third year of a Chinese Degree or Diploma may be considered for direct entry into year two or three of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course on a case by case basis. Depending on your academic background and intended course of study, it may be possible to apply for advanced entry into year 2 or 3 of a University of Lincoln undergraduate course. Students need to have an IELTS score of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each band score). Some courses require a higher IELTS score.
