The M.S. in Education with a specialization in Science Education focuses on preparing educators regarding Next Generation Science Standards as specified by the National Science Teachers Association. This specialization provides educators with knowledge of multiple science areas and skills to instruct students in science through a variety of learning techniques. Course content is research-based and infuses best practices in education and strategies for teaching science.

Coursework for the master's in science education is available online and at many of the NSU Campuses. The master's in science education online delivery option allows international students and those who don’t live near our South Florida campuses to submit coursework and interact with participants and professors via the Internet. The site-based delivery option allows students to take classes in the evenings or on weekends in locations near their homes. The distance education option allows busy professionals the option to complete their degrees without having to leave their jobs or travel long distances.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must complete all bachelor's degree requirements before beginning graduate studies or is in the process of completing a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): 550 on the paper-based test, 213 on the computer-based test, or 79 on the internet-based test. (2) International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.0 on the test module. (3) Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: 54 on the test module.
