在这里学什么?A Bachelor's degree, either B.A. or B.S., is required for admission into optometry school. Students may major in any subject, but the most common majors are Biological Sciences, Biochemistry or Chemistry due to the overlap between the degree requirements and entrance requirements for optometry school. It is not possible to earn a degree in "pre-optometry." All courses listed below must be completed prior to matriculation to the School of Optoometry, but it is not necessary to have completed all the courses listed prior to submitting an application for admission.

为来自中国的学生设计 In general, we recommend that students complete college preparatory coursework that includes: Eight semesters of English or the language of instruction; Six to eight semesters of mathematics; Six to eight semesters of natural sciences (biology, chemistry, physics); Six semesters of social science (economics, government, history, psychology, or sociology); Eight semesters of foreign language, fine arts, computer science, or technical skills; Two semesters of health, physical education, or safety. Graduation from a U.S. or Canadian secondary school or meet the country-specific secondary preparation requirements. The equivalent of a "B" average or higher in secondary school or a score of at least 630 on the General Educational Development (GED) test. English Language Requirements: Minimum TOEFL score of 71 or higher on the internet-based; TOEFL score 530 or higher paper-based exam; IELTS - 6.0 or higher; Pearson Test of English, Academic: 48 or higher; WAEC's Senior Secondary Certificate of Examinations (SSCE): A or B; Ordinary Level Certificate: A or B; Cambridge International O Levels: C or higher; (Test in Practical English Proficiency) "EIKEN": Pre-1 or higher.课程信息
