在这里学什么？ **Why an Integrated Foundation Stage?**An Integrated Foundation Stage starts your degree studies with a year spent learning the skills required to progress onto a full honours degree. Alongside an introduction to Sports Therapy, you will develop valuable study skills, communication, team work and problem-solving techniques which help to build your confidence and prepare you for the rest of your course.**Why Sports Therapy?**Our Sports Therapy degree focuses on the management of injuries for maximum sports performance, including prevention, assessment and rehabilitation of injuries. You’ll learn about human anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, and develop skills such as sports massage, advanced injury diagnosis, joint mobilisations and rehabilitation. With the chance to gain experience on placements with organisations such as Gloucester Rugby, AFC Bournemouth, British American Football and GB Ice Hockey, our graduates stand out from the crowd. You can also work with clients in our in-house sports therapy clinic to gain experience screening, assessing and treating professional athletes and members of the public.There are opportunities to develop your CV during your studies by achieving your pitch-side first aid qualification and progressing to become a qualified sports masseuse (additional costs may apply, see course web page for details). You’ll learn in fully equipped sports therapy suites, physiology and biomechanics labs, with the latest equipment such as full-body vacuum mattresses, diagnostic ultrasound, RS footscan, bodpod and Vicon 3D motion analysis. In addition, new sports facilities at our Oxstalls campus include an international-standard sports arena, 3G pitches, dedicated pitches for rugby, hockey and football and a cricket pavilion and pitch. The course has accreditation with the Society of Sports Therapists, giving you eligibility for student membership during your studies and full membership on graduation.**Why University of Gloucestershire?**We’ve been using our expertise to support and inspire students since 1847. 为来自中国的学生设计 Students need to have Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with the Senior Secondary Academic Proficiency Test ( Putong Gaozhong Xueye Shuiping Kaoshi)/ Huikao? with a minimum grade of 70% AND a recognised Foundation course certificate with a successful pass grade. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate with the Senior Secondary Academic Proficiency Test (Putong Gaozhong Xueye Shuiping Kaoshi)/ Huikao with a minimum grade of 80%. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate AND the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE)/ Gaokao with a minimum score of 70% in a relevant stream. NB: The accepted stream differs by course, e.g. if a science A Level is required for course entry then the science stream is required; if an arts/humanities subject A level is required for course entry then the arts stream is required. However, either the science or the arts stream is acceptable for entry to Business and Management courses. One year (or more) of university study in China with a minimum grade of 70% overall. Undergraduate (Level 6 top up/ Advanced entry to Bachelor degrees)?: Two-three year Diploma (Da Zhuan / Zhuanke) in a related subject area. Successful completion of a minimum 2 years’ university study in a related subject area. IELTS 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band.
