自本学期开学至今的100天里，深圳诺德安达全体学生已经阅读了12,000+本书，全校阅读总词汇量达10,500,000+,平均每个学生每天至少阅读一本自己ZPD(适宜阅读阈值)范围内的读物。通过大家的一起努力与坚持，全校学生们的累计阅读量(仅统计通过阅读测试的部分)已经突破了1000万字!这真是骄人的成绩!我们每天看到学生们争先恐后地到图书馆去借阅图书或参加阅读测试，令人即感动又欣慰。学生们从最初阶段的阅读习惯和常规缓慢养成，到现在的愿意主动积极地投入阅读、享受阅读乐趣、乐意分享和相互支持阅读，学校的学习氛围和学生的书香气越来越浓厚，这一切令人欣喜!这也是学生们在老师的指导和支持下，把责任和毅力融入阅读的完美体现。

In the 100 days since the beginning of this semester, all students of NAS Shenzhen have read 12,000+ books, with an English total vocabulary of 10,500,000+ words. On average, every student read at least one book within their ZPD (suitable reading threshold) range per day. Through everyone's hard work and perseverance, the cumulative reading volume of the students in the school (only the part that passed the reading test is counted) exceeded 10 million words! Every day we see students rushing to the library to borrow books or take the reading tests. This is very gratifying to all of us. From the initial stage of slowly developing reading habits and routines, students are now willing to actively invest their time in reading and be willing to share and support each other. The school’s learning atmosphere and the fragrance of students’ books are getting stronger and stronger. This is also the full embodiment of the students' responsibility and perseverance in reading under the guidance and support of the NAS Shenzhen pedagogical community.

深圳诺德安达的住宿学生每晚也会有专属的阅读时间。根据学生不同的阅读水平，老师会将他们分到不同的阅读群组并让学生在专业的指导下进行统一阅读和自主阅读。学生们还可以自由选择实体书及电子书进行阅读。自上周起，一年级和二年级的住宿生则在老师的指导下登录到自己的myON电子图书馆中进行阅读。一年级全班同学上周一共在电子图书馆中完成阅读137本书，二年级全班同学也完成了82本书的阅读。

The reading time of boarding students each night is divided into different groups according to the children's reading level: unified reading under the guidance of the teacher; independent reading of physical books; free choice of physical books and e-books. Starting last week, boarding students in the first and second grades will log into their myON electronic library to read under the guidance of the teacher. Since last Monday, the first-grade boarders completed 137 books on myON, and the whole second grade students finished reading 82 books on myON.
