Mr. Van der Merwe is a J3 Homeroom teacher and whole school P.E Teacher at St John’s College Changchun. He comes from a family of educators. Upon graduation with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, he has had a career teaching Technology and English for 9 years at 3 schools. Mr. Van der Merwe is a broad teacher and has a Certificate of Registration from the South African Council for Educators (SACE) and also has a certificate in First Aid. In addition to teaching his main subjects, Mr. Van der Merwe is also an experienced PE teacher, with coaching qualifications in Cricket and Rugby.
