北京加拿大国际学校招生简章

Canadian education is highly regarded in the world. It is an outcomes-based system that ensures all students attain the required knowledge, skills and attitudes before graduation. Canadian education ensures that all subjects are taught by teachers trained by recognized universities, who all have classroom experience. The teachers maintain the same high standards that would be expected by the Ministry of Education in Canada. The educational programs and teaching methodologies are supported and reviewed by education officials from Canada.

All programs at CISB are delivered in English with the exception of some language programs. Students who are not native English speakers must complete an English Language Assessment. This assessment will test their ability to speak, listen, read and write in the English language. Based on the results of this assessment, students will be rated from Level 1 (Beginner) to Level 6 (Fluent). For EAL Level 1 to 4, they will attend the EAL program offered to students.

For high school, students are required to meet the minimum grade level EAL required as outlined below:

Grade 9: minimum EAL Beginning Level 3
Grade 10: minimum EAL Intermediate Level 4
Grade 11 & 12: minimum EAL Maintenance Level 5
